Looks like Armenia with less then 8% of forest cover is not entirely doomed as it was commented earlier.

There are plenty of positive cases of recovery - from 7% of forest cover to 40% (Portugal), etc.

So, good news, Armenia! We would need only 2 centuries (on average - based on Europe's experience) to replant and regenerate what we have logged in some 20 years of crisis.
